Mountbatten House Surgery
Mountbatten House Surgery was initiated in 1981 when Dr Phil Hariram was asked to provide medical services to the new and rapidly growing area now known as North Springfield. Our original premises were a portacabin on the Fairview Estate, then a ground floor council flat, graduating to our present purpose built premises in 1982. Dr Ian Freed joined the practice in 1982 and Dr Geeta Dhairyawan in 1983.
We started with just three receptionists and now have a team of fifteen.
After many years of devoted service Dr. Hariram retired in March 2004 and Dr Mihaela Carmaciu joined the Practice.
Facilities for the Disabled
There is a wheelchair ramp and automatic doors to the surgery entrance. There is also a disabled toilet situated off the foyer. Please do ask if you need further assistance.
